Doktorandentag is celebrated every semester where doctoral students present their research in front of the jury and their colleagues, and only one takes the prize home.
Fatma's research focuses on creating colonic capsules for the delivery of aqueous live bacterial suspensions. The delivery system should protect different species of live bacteria (aerobic and anaerobic) from the harsh gastrointestinal conditions and can open only once they reach the distal part of the intestine.
