Galenus NanoGVA best poster award goes to Silvana Geisshüsler!
Congratulations to our doctoral student Silvana! She successfully developed a model vaccine that induced T-cells response in vitro and in vivo models. Activating patient's own immune system can be exploited in therapeutic cancer vaccination and other diseases.

Human microbiome is famously known for its benefits to our health, however few bacteria survive the manufacturing process. Fatma is working on a novel approach to improve bacterial survival by encapsulating aqueous suspensions of live bacteria inside a functional composite capsule.
Bioinspired, Low-Cost Device for Minimally Invasive Blood Sampling for children
Our postdoctoral fellow, Dr Nicole Zoratto, will work on the development of the versatile microsampling device to collect the blood with minimal invasiveness for point-of-care tests. This project is part of Postdoctoral Excellence Programme (PEP), an initiative of Botnar Research Centre for Child Health (BRCCH).

Professor Leroux has received the Centennial Innovation Award in R&D
Professor Leroux received an Innovation Award in R&D presented by the Faculty of Pharmacy, at University of Montreal. He was one of the six laureates who distinguished for the quality of the innovations achieved during their professional practice.
