Kategorie «Start-ups» Inositec AG, Zürich Die Inositec AG  ist ein Biotech-Spin-off der ETH Zürich, welches innovative Medi­kamente basierend auf Inositolphosphat, einem natürlichen Vermittler mit viel­fältigen Zellfunktionen, entwickelt. Die kleinen Moleküle helfen zum Beispiel bei Arterienverkalkungen oder Darminfektionen.

Prof. Leroux's research ranks this year again among the top 1% of most cited researcher in his field by Clarivate Analytics, earning the mark of exceptional impact.  

We congratulate Irene Pereira de Sousa for winning the Poster Award at the CRS Italy Chapter Workshop 2017 in Salerno, Italy. Title of the poster: Oral treatment of phenylketonuria: a microparticulate-based formulation.

Since September 2016, she has been looking for new ways to treat the congenital metabolic disorder phenylketonuria as postdoc in ETH Professor Jean-Christophe Leroux’s research group.

Prof. Leroux received the 2016 "Lipid-Based Drug Delivery Outstanding Research Award" from the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) for his contributions to the application of lipid excipients in development of novel and effective drug delivery systems.
